THE HEALTH NINJA’S

The Health Ninja was established as a direct result of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s plea at the State of the Nations Address (SONA) 2018 to “SEND ME – THUMA MINA”.

The brainchild of Shriya Misra (a young female, Masters Graduate (Cum Laude) in Organic Synthetic Chemistry) and Shivesh Misra (a graduate in Bcom Marketing and Economics, Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and Financial Planning, and currently pursuing his CFP and CIMA qualifications) whose exposure to the healthcare system, working as research assistants at the centralized drug resistant tuberculosis unit highlighted the gaps in the current healthcare environment.Combining their fighting spirits as second Dan Black belt karateka, their patriotism as a result of Shriya representing South Africa in the World Karate Championships and Shivesh representing Kwa-Zulu Natal at various events, their leadership skills gained as members of the Durban Hindu Temple Youth Group, they are community activists in the fight against communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Shriya and Shivesh Misra partnered with other aspiring young South Africans and “The Health Ninja” was registered as a company.

We take pride in being responsive, making a difference at a critical point in peoples’ lives. We have been doing this since 1944, working with veterans of every conflict, and we envisage continuing doing so for the ‘long haul’ – supporting all future generations of our soldiers and their dependants.
